A 50g bundle of Suri Silk yarn that I hand dyed a few years ago!

The second photo shows how the yarns works up within knit alongside the one undyed ball I have included.
Natural fibres can sometimes feel inaccessible in that the price point is (rightfully) quite high, these provide an accessible entry point for someone to become acquainted with its feel and play around with colours without committing to a larger skein.
In this quantity I would use this yarn to sample, practice colourwork techniques and play around with colour placement, whilst also admiring its sensory aspect.

To prolong the longevity of what you make with your yarn here are some general tips:
- Handwash in lukewarm water
- Use a light detergant, ph neutral soap or wool wash
- Avoiding the tumble dryer and washing machine is recommended
- Spot clean where possible
- Airing is often a sufficient alternative to washing
- Store garments folded rather than hung
